STABLING & SHOWGROUND 
FACILITIES

Due to moving to a new venue SWSJC will only have temporary stables available in 2011.

Sponsors will be given priority stabling  if booking before the published closing date. 

Please state at time of booking if you are bringing a STALLION.

Stables are for the duration of the show and are not available for single night bookings.

  No refunds can be made in respect of stables cancelled unless the stable can be re-sold.

Shavings, hay & big / small bale haylage may be purchased from the Stable Managers office in the normal way. 
Competition Day Opening Hours: 8am – 9am / 5pm – 7pm (or 2 hours after the last class if later) Departure day 8am - 9pm
Straw may be used in these stables but is not sold on the showground.

Horses/ponies are not permitted to be stabled overnight in vehicles or corrals within the perimeter of the showground.

MUCK from Stables & Horseboxes are collected by a local farmer at the end of the season. This must be PURE with NO BOTTLES; CANS; PLASTIC; STRING etc. All muck must be put in the areas provided NOT at the end of each stable block. If we do not adhere to this, we will have to pay £25,000 a year to have the muck taken away. Please self-police this. If you see anyone breaking the rules, tell them, or tell us. Any person breaking this rule will be liable to a fine of £25 for each offence. If you have a groom, please make sure they are aware of this.

There will be regular SECURITY patrols throughout the night.

A Veterinary Surgeon and Farrier are on site during the day and may be contacted via the Stable Manager or the Secretary’s Office.

Railed Horse Walks are provided to all the rings and these MUST be used at all times.
